The economic boom was when America was excelling in the 1920s. It left the war as the strongest economic power and was becoming richer then ever before. Many prospered; bankers, investors, new industries and some fruit farmers. There were also many who suffered; black people, women,, poor, white people, trade unionists and some farmers.

Firstly many prospered and these where rich and middle classes. This is because they owned many companies and did not pay workers with the profit from there goods/services (this is also a reason workers did not prosper). They also invested in other successful industries.
